| Summer is sweet in Colorado. The air stays dry and the nights stay warm. Looking down from 250 million year old rocks set to form a perfect amphitheater, The Dead threw one fun party. Red Rocks is a great place to see any band, but this place is special to The Dead, as is noted in the gallery built in the mountain under the top of the place, loaded with photographs of Jerry Garcia and the Grateful Dead performing at Red Rocks. The Cliffs tower up to 300 on both sides of the crowd channeling music through the crowd. |
