| The String Cheese Incident
huddled backstage before the show while preparing for their biggest performance to date. Taking to the stage as scheduled at 6:15pm on Friday, The String Cheese Incident immediately went into a upbeat jam with Dudley's Kitchen.
Fans filled the field in front of Which Stage as far back as I could see. The bleachers in the background were packed as well. Michael Kang alternated between his mandolin, violin, and guitar. Billy Nershi played large acoustic guitar switching off for his electric guitar for some songs.
Keith Moseley laid down the bass. Michael Travis' head could be seen while jamming on the drums. Kyle Hollingsworth is the bands keyboardist who's tools of the trade include his Hammond B3 Organ Korg 05R/W, Module Kurzweil Micro Keyboards, Rhodes, Keyboards-Stage Model Roland A90, Keyboard Roland JP, and a 8000 Synthesizer, Melodica.

These guys sound great, mixing bluegrass and psychedelic rock jams. The unique combination of instruments played by Michael Kang
is part of what sets this band apart along with their tight talent with sounds that rival the quality of Phish's jams.
Next time The String Cheese Incident plays at Bonnaroo, they are going to have to move to What (main) Stage.|
