Marshall Tucker played just before sunset on the large Delta Stage facing the Buncombe County Courthouse. The crowd filled the entire fenced in area of the main stage. This was a good show. With the rains holding off for days, the summer evening felt perfect in the mountain town of Asheville. This was a busy day thanks to Terri Fisher and the rest of the Bele Chere committee
for booking so many great bands to perform at the largest street festival in the Southeast. Hundreds of thousands attend the festival each summer. Marshall Tucker's line-up has evolved since the Spartenburg South Carolina band started touring in 1972. Marshall Tucker Band - Official Site
