David Oppenheimer is a versatile photographer based in Asheville, North Carolina. With close to a decade of experience, David has covered events at The Fillmore Auditorium in San Francisco and Madison Square Garden in New York to Warren Haynes' Xmas Jams at the Asheville Civic Center and each Bonnaroo Music Festival from side-stage. David's personal interests are as broad as his musical interests. After many years as a photographer on the road, David resumed his studies and has recently completed his Associate in Arts degree from Asheville-Buncombe Technical Community College. David remains focused in his pursuit to learn and improve his photographic, editing and web capabilities.David was a full time photographer for the Biltmore Estate in 2007 and continues to work there for special events and occasions. Although David travels often, he has remained in Western North Carolina for 18 years. Often hiking to cliffs to watch the sunset, the beauty of the area is what initially inspired David to become a photographer. David's desire to communicate drove him to learn the art of web design, search engine optimization, and digital photograph editing and retouching. When David is not working or studying, he may be found out enjoying some live music or swimming at a lake but his creative mind rests little. Since 2005, David has been a contributing photographer and reporter for Kynd Music magazine and now also works with Glide Magazine, The Village Idiot magazine and many bands, venues and festivals.Working through his company, Performance Impressions LLC, David creates lasting relationships by understanding his clients' needs and striving to exceed their expectations. |
